WE WILL MISS YOU....

Today wasn't the greatest day in the world, we lost a very dear friend.
Some might say he´s in a better place, for the skeptical, something in
the lines of "life just isn't fair sometimes". Which ever one chooses,
one cant help but feel down on one hand and reflect on life, etc
on the other. I understand its life and the show must go on but I
wanted you to meet Dave, the happy man in the hat. A man
filled with joy, love, hewas one of the greatest, most
generous people you'll ever come across.
And believe me when I say he will be
missed by everyone who knew him.
He was the party guy and the
serious guy, the one you'd
seek out for advice and
straightforward as
they come!
We will miss you deeply

MAKING THE MOVE

This is by no means a 12 step program blog...Ah, you got a little excited there!
Too bad to disappoint you but this (quote) means a whole
lot to me, especially at times like these when
Ive changed my life completely...

So, its official, Im a Mexico City citizen!I have been her for exactly 19 days and its
been amazing. If all this happened in a few weeks, I cant imagine what it will be like in say... 2.5 years (Ill tell you more about that in another post). But I made it, fear and all, you think one would stop being scared of changes after moving around so much but, I guess its kind of like new relationships,  exciting but bewildering and the little voice in your head NEVER goes away!Fortunately mine has a sexy tone, its like Marti Pellow singing in my ear...

Well, here I am. Facing new challenges, new people, new places, everything is new, well except those damn heels I brought from Cabo and broke the minute I stepped on the street! The important thing is Im taking action, each day,to make things happen. Because there are millions of things we cant accept, that we shouldn't accept and guess what, we do have the power to change them, all of them! Im not preaching, Im simply stating that very often we get side tracked and forget all the things were meant to
do in this world---

So here´s the real challenge:
make a list of all those things you keep
wishing were different and on the side
write a few possible solutions.

ARE YOU UP FOR IT?

10 YEARS AGO AND A DAY...

This is Buenos Aires.
The capital city of Argentina,
my home, my love.

Today I celebrate 10 years..
of leaving Argentina behind.
Like so many other fellow countrymen
who decided to migrate to greener pastures...
Some left for political reasons, others... financial

Me, initially I left for love, a different kind of love.
A scotsman swept me off my feet and I decided to jump,
without a net (thats what love does to you)

That was back in 2003, when I was figuring out my life
and I said farewell to a great job, friends, family and
... lets start a new life. And what a life!
I had so many amazing experiences, I found a new career path,
had a long relationship that taught me so much about love
and I got to discover a different side to the world...

First stop, London.
University, boyfriend, friends and a dog.
Im being pretty vague regarding the relationship because
it ended at one point and well, who likes to talk about these things...

Next came the George Michael European Tour
(This is definitely for another post.)

Fast forward a few years and Im in Mexico... 2007
Cabo San Lucas to be precise.
And now a change is coming, Im moving to Mexico City!
(most definitely another post.. or 100!)

2013. April. 10 years since I left my home town.
As much as I miss it and them (F.R.I.E.N.D.S), there are no regrets.
I dont even feel like an ex-pat, Im more of a citizen of the world...
I adapt, I have terrific moments.
I highly recommend packing and starting over somewhere, at least
for a litte bit.

HOME WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.
